It’s Sunday morning (said like Gwen Stefani). Hanky is laying next to me on our little couch in our little office. I love this room of the house. It has so many cute, pretty things that make me smile. There’s artwork that my sister made when she was in highschool and I’ve always loved it. My sister is beautiful. She’s doing such a great job as a mom, caring for my gorgeous, perfect niece. I was hoping to see them tomorrow but she’s busy. I just realized that it’s Saturday morning, not Sunday morning. Oopsie woopsie. It’s because I took the afternoon off and went downtown with Tammy and Debbie. We had so much fun shopping. Debbie had to take back some shoes she bought at Browns. We walked to Holt Renfrew and Tammy found her Dior shoes in a flat. She was looking for the heel (which was released on Thursday) but after trying them on they weren’t comfortable. She was walking on carpet and they were uncomfortable so she went with the flats. They are adorable and have a cute bow. We made our way over to YSL. The store manager, Megan helped us. She’s fantastic, super friendly, gives amazing service. She knows her stuff, knows what we like and always shows us everything. Plus she let’s us use the super secret bathroom. She pours champagne and we just pet everything. We hadn’t been there in a while. She pulled out a jacket to show Tammy, and started describing it and I yelled out “the windbreaker!” I’ve seen this jacket online, it’s super trendy right now and has a long-lasting style where it’s not a trend you throw away next season. I rarely wear or buy jackets. I can’t remember the last jacket I bought. It must have been my green Kit and Ace jacket from 2020. Megan slipped this jacket onto me and it is silky and cool feeling and went on perfectly. I kept it on the whole time we shopped and I bought it! Tammy thought maybe I should think about it but there was nothing to think about. It was meant for me. I can’t wait to take it to New York and wear it around. It’s subtle, charming, fits perfectly. Using girl math, it’s basically free considering I haven’t purchased jackets in years and only own 3. I also bought a pair of slip on shoes which are a light caramel color and a new wallet for Chris because he mentioned his is getting old now. I bought his previous wallet at YSL 5 years ago and he really likes it so I basically got him the same one but with a different logo. Same style. Debbie bought a pair of shoes too, brown flat sandals. They look great. Similar to the Hermes style many women wear but hers are much nicer, we believe. That’s my opinion! a la Tamra Judge. After blowing our load at YSL, we walked over to Jimmy Choo. Rob wasn’t there today so Anna helped us. Also super nice. I tried on a pair of jelly heels like I really like and if I had not spent so much at YSL I would have left with those shoes. I’ll wait until next month or later and I will buy them. Rob will send me a reminder. Maybe I’ll see them at the outlets in Vegas. We had champagne at Jimmy Choo as well and now we were buzzing. I stopped at Gucci to drop of my shoes for repair. The heel was sliding off on my cute little pink sandals I just bought. Dean is sending them in for repair. Chris and I are heading out to buy propane. We went to make burgers the other day and the propane tank was empty. I made the coffee this morning and it tastes weak. It’s not horrible but not great. The color is light.
